Take you out on a day trip to see some breathtaking scenery. Nuwara Eliya is a town in the central Sri Lankan hills where a lot of tea is grown. Located at an elevation of about 2,000 metres. If you’re looking for a respite from Sri Lanka’s tropical heat, head to the highlands of Nuwara Eliya.
Located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s central highlands is Horton Plains National Park. In 1988, it was officially named. At an altitude of about 2300 metres, it features both mountain grassland and cloud forest.
