The Udawalawe National Park in Sri Lanka is well-known for its elephant population and as a haven for avian wildlife.
covering an area of 30,821 acres. About 250 of the 400 elephants being cared for here can be considered permanent residents.
The park’s main draws Extensive list of animals, such as elephants, deer, wild boar, water buffalo, jackal, various eagles, birds, monkeys, and crocodiles.

Galle Dutch fort, Mirissa whale watching, surfing
Today, I got an early start on whale watching and then took a break to explore the Galle Dutch Fort. The Portuguese constructed Galle Fort in the Galle district of Sri Lanka.
A strong hold. It has a 400-year history, dating back to when the Dutch renovated it in the 17th century. The current fort’s entrance. There are two gates used. The wall is still standing, and many government buildings are located nearby.
World Heritage Site status awarded to Galle. The fort is as historic as it is stunning in appearance.
Spending the afternoon surfing and lounging on the beach.

You can go white water rafting in Kitulgala on the way to Kandy.
In the evening, your chauffeur-guide will take you sight-seeing in Kandy if you have some spare time.

Kandy, the ancient hill capital and the spiritual and political heart of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Kandy is an important administrative, commercial, and cultural center, as well as a popular pilgrimage and tourism destination, located in a picturesque valley surrounded by concentric rings of mountains.
Stop by the botanical garden and see the over 4,000 plant species they have on display.
Attend a fire walk show and a dance performance featuring traditional dances from different regions of Sri Lanka to really get the adrenaline pumping.

Learn about the production of Ceylon tea by touring a tea plantation and factory. Stop by the spice garden en-route to learn about Ceylon’s most prized spices.
